CRC 2018 Annual Report is in the Mail

Our 2018 Annual Report, Improved Outcomes, has been printed and will be sent to all industry members this week.

The report reviews the events of the past year and looks ahead to future challenges for our industry. It outlines the improved outcomes we were able to achieve on Proposition 65, water quality, salmon, conservation programs and public education.

The report also outlines emerging issues we are working on, including the areas of reconnecting the floodplain, drinking water and enhanced water quality requirements

This report showcases a handful of the thousands of photographs we take each year of the people, places and wildlife that make California Rice unique.

Winter Rice Meetings will go Virtual This Year

Due to COVID-19, many of the winter meetings for the rice industry will be held virtually this year.

Our Industry Calendar is a good resource for these meetings. Currently, the scheduled meetings include Corteva Virtual Rice Herbicide Seminars on February 3 and 10, and the University of California Cooperative Extension February 11. Please note, the UCCE Rice event requires advance registration and a $10 fee. More information and links to these events are available at our calendar section.
