After some technical difficulties with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s weblink to the main program document called the Public Solicitation Notice (PSN), the issues have now been resolved. The correct link is as follows: https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=164867&inline

The PSN provides the most detailed information about the program, including how to apply and how the applications will be prioritized for funding by the Department. The PSN and other information, including the application form, can also be accessed at the Department’s Private Lands Incentive Programs Webpage.

And as a final reminder, interested parties have an opportunity to attend a CRC Workshop, scheduled for next Monday, January 28 at the Colusa Casino starting at 10:00 am, to learn more about this new program. More details about the workshop, including how to RVSP, can be found in CRC’s Winter Rice Habitat Program Workshop Notice.

Winter Rice Meetings will go Virtual This Year

Due to COVID-19, many of the winter meetings for the rice industry will be held virtually this year.

Our Industry Calendar is a good resource for these meetings. Currently, the scheduled meetings include Corteva Virtual Rice Herbicide Seminars on February 3 and 10, and the University of California Cooperative Extension February 11. Please note, the UCCE Rice event requires advance registration and a $10 fee. More information and links to these events are available at our calendar section.
