Only Intrepid® 2F is allowed for Armyworm Control

Intrepid® 2F (EPA Reg No 62719-442) is the only methoxyfenozide product to legally use on rice for armyworm control. You can still tank mix Intrepid® 2F with your later season rice pesticide applications per label directions.

The FIFRA Section 18 labels are product specific. That is why the label lists Intrepid® 2F as the single product. Use of any other methoxyfenozide product is prohibited.

Use of pesticides through the Section 18 process is an emergency exemption from registration. The U.S. EPA issued a time-limited tolerance for methoxyfenozide on rice, which expires December 31, 2022.

We should have full registration for methoxyfenozide on rice by 2022, and no longer need a Section 18 for Intrepid® 2F.
